The green conch bridge construction on the Bendungan Melayu connecting channel that connects between RW 05, Tugu Selatan Urban Village and RW 01, Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village, finally done.

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency's Road and Bridge Maintenance Division Head Ujang Royani said the bridge as long as 10 meters with 2 meters width takes the theme of green shells as it matches the characteristics of North Jakarta as a coastal area.

"Its railing is made to resemble the shape of a green shell that is completed with spotlight lighting," he expressed, Tuesday (10/8).

The spotlight is made at six points, precisely inside and outside of the bridge. Each lamp has 50 watts power per point. It is hoped can make locals comfortable when crossing the bridge at night.

Aside that, lighting also adds to the aesthetics of the bridge and is expected to become a new interactive spot for locals.

"This bridges beautifies the area, especially at night," he stated.
